Norman De Costa - President, EFFA
Norman De Costa was appointed President in 2005.
Norman is the Managing Director of Frederickson Freight Management Pte Ltd, (Singapore) and has been with EFFA since 2000.
Frederickson successfully hosted the 2005 EFFA AGM in Singapore, which recorded the highest turnout ever in participation by EFFA members and new delegates.
Norman has been involved in the Freight Forwarding Industry since 1985 and has worked with large multinational companies. In 1992 Norman decided to venture independently and thus Frederickson Freight Management was conceptualised and established.
Frederickson provides an array of services in air, ocean and land transport and logistics. Norman - a trained Marine Engineer - has a very good working knowledge of offshore & onshore marine activities, providing a sound background and technical expertise for Frederickson’s core business of servicing the Oil & Gas Industry, which is very challenging by nature.
True to his background, in his spare time Norman is also drawn to the sea and loves any water related sports.
